New Hope After-School Prog.
The New Hope After School Program (NH) is our child development program that aims to help children (ages 5-12):
- Hold decision-making and advisory positions in their school and community
- Manage their conflicts non-violently
- Master their reading grade requirements
- Meet or surpass the standards for academic performance
- Be physically fit, arts-oriented, and nutritionally responsible
- Be active members of their family
- Be active in their communities
- Mentor their peers or younger children
We seek to develop strong, independent, articulate children who legitimately represent and are accountable to their families and communities. The children develop a greater sense of self, and serve as resources to their peers and communities.
